26 March 2003 marks the day when schools (up to JCs) in Singapore are closed till 6 April due to the SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) scare. I can almost hear the collective woohoos of the students when this news was confirmed on TV. I can imagine how Calvin (of Calvin & Hobbes) must have felt to wake up to a blizzard morning, the joy, the ecstasy-- school would be closed and he can go frolic in the snow with Hobbes.
