Just showered, can't go to sleep immediately.
Been lazy to blog.
Haven't written report about my EBC trek yet.
Before my memory fails me, I better record down some things that have happened since my return from Nepal. Too bad I can't remember the dates though.
- Before Nepal, I remember I helped out in Vacation Bible School in church. (ok, I'll try not to sound like a recovering amnesiac). The kids were cute, especially Hannah.
- On impulse, bought a Cartier Roadster (the new version for ladies) for Grace; anyway, it was approaching Christmas. No regrets, it looks great on her tiny wrist. It even comes with a second interchangeable black calf strap. with Of course, a 40mm Panerai would be ideal, but small wrist, what to do.
- My dark brown lizard skin strap from Banda arrived. Looks great with my PAM86.
- Went for ThePuristS dinner with Vacheron Constantin CEO at the Hilton. The veal chop and lemon meringue were simply delectable. Just as delectable was Jenny, sales and marketing executive for Vacheron Constantin (under Richemont Luxury, Singapore). I had my first taste of pumpkin puree (came with the veal chop), because I mistook it for mashed sweet potato; it was surprisingly good. Got to experience the swivel-smoothness of the platinum Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Sun-Moon AND the macho beauty of a PVD Panerai, i.e. PAM4. PVD.... *drool*
- Went to Jeremy's place for Christmas eve dinner of hotplate and steamboat. Lee Kum Kee black pepper sauce went well with virtually everything we cooked.
- Spent New Year's Eve at home watching the countdown on TV, something which I haven't done in a long time.
- CCA Fair was held on 10 January 2004 in school. The photo which I took with Helmi, Rafi and Medee posing behind me with their plastic pistols is a hoot.
- Booked 4 films for the Nordic Film Fest: Kopps; Dark Woods; Johnny Vang; Bad Boys. Saw Kopps on Wednesday, really quite side-splitting.
January 17, Saturday:
- Brought my form class, Sec 406 to Tuas Naval base and to S'pore Discovery Centre as part of the school's NE programme.
- Had dinner with Grace, Francis and Selina at a Thai restaurant along Purvis Street.
