Random things that have happened during my blog hiatus:
Finally, the Godfather has landed on our shores. I was lucky enough to be invited to an afternoon tea session with the CEO of Panerai (Angelo Bonati), at the unearthly hour of 4pm on a Monday and at the unearthly venue of Raffles Marina in Tuas. Well, any Paneristi worth his watches would never give up this chance of course, so off I went after school (luckily, there wasn't any English remedial on that Monday).
Took a photo with Bonati, and got him to autograph my 2004 Agenda and Panerai Style Book II. The mussels, scallops and tiramisu there were great.
Yu-Ying of Tang Quartet got himself a second Panerai after the event, the PAM 88 (GMT)!

I am now using MSN far more than ICQ. Heck, I've ditched ICQ for MSN.
I have put on weight. On the other hand, the satay beehoon at Blk 85 food centre is great. My standard order is $3 minus the cuttlefish, and the plate will be full of ingredients such as cockles, pork slices, liver slices, tau pok... yummy. Best is to go there from 5 - 6pm to beat the crowd.
Beverly Morata (don't u like that name, it hints of the Japanese blood in her) has made it as a wildcard into the Singapore Idol finals! Yes, my money is on her.
I have a new cycling buddy, Alvin, who works at Parkway Nanyang Optical. He rides a Cannondale with slick-tires.
Thievery Corporation is playing at Velvet on Wednesday for Heineken Green Room Sessions. And I have not received the invites, maybe cos I was late in requesting. I may just show up at Velvet and beg the pretty ladies in charge there; they decide who gets in or who does not.
