The epic 4-day Chinese New Year holiday has come to an end.
Not surprisingly, I ate too much again over this period (bak kwa, especially).
Beef steamboat at grand-aunt's place was great as usual.
As society becomes more self-centred, it's no wonder that more families are 'escaping' the Chinese New Year by making overseas trips, so they don't have to endure long and boring visits to relatives whom they only see once a year. So much for customs and traditions.
