When I go to a western food restaurant, I simply have to try their burgers. Except for Tony Roma's, cos their ribs have higher priority.
I have tried burgers at Hard Rock Cafe, Seah Street Deli, Swenson's, Werner's Oven, Billy Bombers and Carl's Junior, but the latest restaurant I went to was Botakjones at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5, 2 nights ago.
Of notable mention:
Hard Rock Cafe's burger has the tastiest beef, but it's also the most expensive among those places. Swenson's Megaburger is good value for money cos their burger comes with a giant patty, 2 slices of ham, bacon slices and one sunny side egg.
It was my first time at Botakjones-- it was great value for money. And just because they dust their fries with chilli powder, I really must go back to that place again. Other western food stall-vendors should take a cue from them!
