Who wakes up at 6.30am for fun? Me.
No school today, but it's a working day for most adults. So I took out my bike and rode it around Tampines town via the park connector.
It's always kind of interesting to ride at a leisurely pace, and observe the adults going to work or waiting for the buses. We certainly seem like an unhappy nation, judging from their smile-less expressions, as they stride purposely* to the interchange. Who can blame them, they have a 9.00 - 6.00 day ahead of them. Tis the drudgery of work. And I, with my day off, was an anomaly amongst them.
As I rolled along the nicely paved connector, my mind dwelt on a problem: what to have for breakfast, and where to bring Christian out for the day. Quite a nice problem to have, really.
*oops, it should be 'purposefully'.
